Suggest New Premium Member Perks!

So in order to bring some new life to the Premium Membership Program (not the Premium Seller one). I would like to ask you all what sort of cool little perks would you guys like to see in order to improve the value of the membership and make it more enticing. Your best ideas will be discussed and possibly added as a perk in the future!

Things that are definitely off the table:

• Ban Prevention. Breaking the rules is breaking the rules, this cannot make you exempt from that.
• Faster approval. While a good idea in theory, staff should and usually does get to every approval as soon as they can, so this offers little intrinsic value, and I believe would just cause a small rift between regular members who just wish to contribute and premium members.
• Marketplace perks. This falls solely under Premium Seller, and as such it is entirely up to Arun to determine its benefits.
• Price change. $25 for an account's lifetime is pretty good value, when it could be a yearly subscription.
• Remember that we are bound by VBulletin, so any perk ideas have to be able to be implemented within the confines of the forum and its plugins. Though if we do change the software in the near future, this thread may be revisited.

If I think of anything else, I will amend this thread. Obviously any new perks will be retroactive and granted to all current and future Premium Members, so no need to worry about that.

Serious suggestions only please. If you agree with a suggestion, feel free to thank the post. This will give me some perspective as to which ideas are more popular.

Let them have the options to change their IM text color or something coo like that a star in front of their name idk bruh

also yall should have achievements not just for premium tho

I think you should add a pointshop or allow premiums ability to change their own name after a set period of time, i know vb sites with plugins like that

Not really aware of what kind of perks vbulletin is capable of, definitely would suggest if users were able to custom edit colored usertitles themselves it'd be good, different color for the usergroup itself since premium legit looks dull af and is almost same as FS color, tbf in order to improve the value of the membership apart from perks there should be some activity for the premium section as well, haven't had anybody contribute freebie accounts & such for a long time now maybe we could incorporate giveaway section with a different category that is for premiums and high level users alone, just a thought.

I'm not sure if donating removes some post count restrictions (Posting screenshot links, Sending PM's etc..) so if donating helps new starters then that's awesome.

I know tons of Vb sites who use pointshops with award/achievement integration and with those points you can change user title color, name etc, maybe add bling to names like the particle effects, who knows.

Also per @Time ‘s suggestion, I got a premium seller tag giveaway going on in mem 2+ hopefully it can start something there

theres forums where you have to buy the points/credits for real money and those awards also offer extra functions in the forum, which i dont think would be good
however theres also other forums where you get points for doing different tasks like making a thread, posting etc

yeah that is always a good monetization option, i know epic npeecee and oc use something like that and make a killing, people should be able to pay for sticky threads, thread exposure etc, mpgh has a very strong market which is most of the reason there is still traffic coming here why not use that

I would like the reward/achievement system and have an option to chose different colors, sparkling name or etc, it would make everything like unique user to user.

Alot of rule breaking will happen. Advertisements, prohibited contact methods and even rats if someone is creative lol.

You can always report your threads with changes you need.
