1% Boost in mark College

Hi boys, I am in college and need a nice constructive statements to tell this course director to bump my grade by 1%. I am 1% short from next letter grade, which I need. Anything nice I can tell him, so far he's saying if you were within 0.8% he curved, if not he can't give special exemptions. I am not giving up till I get my next letter grade lmao. If it helps I did get A's on all assignments/tests, but ONE. I am also 1-2 marks short from any of the tests, or exams, from receiving this next letter grade boost. Fuck help me out boys

I don't think it's possible since grading marks in universities and colleges are kinda strict (in my country for what I know and the uni that im currently studying in). But it never hurts to try ask your Faculty dean or Programme Leader since an A could greatly impact the school's overall grade system.

Nothing you can do except beeing honest. Tell him you need it for what ever reason and that you would be unbelievably greatful for this upgrade. Also maybie say that you understand his principles but that it would be a sad for you not to achieve what you want by 0.2%, just because the rules are strict. Not exactly like this but just be nice and honest.

Give him a list of reasons why you earned it, as it shows your hardwork that you got A's on all assignments except one and that one 1% is whats holding you back. If anything ask if there is any extra credit work you can do.

Write a formal letter indicating your reasons on what you want and why.
Ask for an extra credit if applicable.

don't email, go in person and ask if you could go over previous tests and see if you can make up the 1 percent. most profs won't round unless its a higher level course.
