I recently graduated and got a full time job which hardly pays for the bills. I spend my evenings playing video games but would like to diverge into a side hussle. Is dropshipping still relevant as of 2020? or is there better options out there?

Dropshipping has become a meme at this point. The only way to actually make money with dropshipping as a newcomer is to combine it with refunding.
Even that has become a lot more complicated during the past years though, so don't expect it to actually work.

Your best bet would probably be opening a grey/blackhat service here if you have any relevant "skills".

Find a good supplier who is reliable and sells at low prices, open a store, create an attractive thread design and the world is your oyster.
Only problem is account limitations on paypal.
Fitbit SE service, find sers, again start a thread, nice design and you will make some money.
Legal methods for passive income are very slow and aren't sufficient for many people. Matched betting works well in the UK aswell

Do you have a car? you could work uber-eats or a similar service in the evenings instead of playing video games. You can do this as many days as you want/need, and you'll have enough money by the end of the month. Dropshipping is extremely difficult in 2020, the chinese sellers are near-impossible to beat, especially if you're new to the game and don't know the ins and outs or have years of relevant experience like most people do and they still struggle to beat chinese sellers because these guys are getting products from the source, whereas everyone else has to bulk buy from a middleman that sells for higher price. Like the other guy said, even refund-dropshipping is more difficult these days, you have vcc issues, amz asking statements etc. I personally wouldn't recommend divulging into blackhat activities, but that's up to you.

Reselling and flipping is a good one indeed, refunding and reselling too. Investing could be good to, just in an index fund if you can't be asked to learn about the stocks.
