Question about refund services

I'm very confused! If the success rate of the refund is 100%, then why doesn't the person offering the refund service just buy stuff and refund it for themselves? Why are they offering the service to make money? They can make more money by just buying stuff and refunding it.
Maybe someone could explain to me?

Success rate is never 100%, always something might go wrong - but in the worst scenario you will just not get refunded.
People who are offering refund services obviously do it for themselves - but they cant abuse one store cause of address limit.
They offer service - to make money.
They buy stuff and refund it - but theres a big chance refund will fail if u order few times from one store.

There is an address limit for safety (to avoid getting blacklisted and suspicious by the company and the courier) and sometimes it can be considered a hassle having to change all the personal information such as the name, card details, and including IP when attempting to refund again to the same address.

Hence, the reason refunders offer their service to other people, with item or order limits and sometimes with conditions (such as do not open the box, do not use the product, etc. in case something happens like the refund process failed - which rarely happens given the high percentage of success they mention. With this being said, you can easily return the item(s) and have your money back.

Also worth mentioning that refunds require the bread$ to begin with - not everyone wants to invest in a refund that isn't guaranteed and rather just do the service for their own gain. You can be a skilled refunder, but I don't think you will have a 100% success rate after some time.

Greed and power affect the best of people. This also unfortunately applies to currency exchange.

Refunders usually do it for both themselves and also customers to gain maximal profit. If you had something you could offer as a service to make money from and as well making money from exploiting it yourself, why wouldn't you?
