Concept of Crashroom?

What's the concept of Crashroom? i've seen one before. I think sir dreek posted it? he maxed the ammo dmg to 9999 and when he fired the gun, everyone in the room got kicked or silently received client error (because there's no client error poped up).

I wanna know how crashroom works or any other ways to do it. I just need some info not the whole code itself (but sure if you wanna share the code i'd be thankful hahahaha).

on the top of that, can someone crash the room or game using ptc?
