FBI says Watch out for 'Zoom-Bombings'

For the teachers and students here on MPGH that are on lockdown, watchout for Zoom-Bombings.

Your school is probably using Zoom for online classes and meetings. Aside from the privacy issues Zoom has, it's a convenient video meeting app, easy for students and teachers to use.

However, a recent trend has been happening... Zoom-Bombings. The FBI issued a warning after some crazy guys infiltrated two school-held Zoom meetings, to harass the teacher, while displaying a Swastika sign.

Now imagine universities having thousands of Zoom sessions per day. Hopefully this won't become a trend.

I can't understand why many schools/people around the world are still using this software when there are way better alternatives around (webex, teams, meet).

100% agree. These people don't care about privacy, they're either ignorant about it or they just don't care and value convenience over privacy. An alternative to Zoom is Jitsi.
