people who've purchased high mmr accounts, how'd it work out for ya?

Anyone buy any diamond 2+ accounts to play games in higher elo to try and figure out how to improve? How'd it go for you?

If I think realistically, I'll be throwing away my money, and I expect to just stay at my current rank (S9 P2, P3 Promos as of now) - it might be better to just use that money for coaching. I would only be able to play ~20-30 games before I fall back to my elo. Purchasing a D4 account doesn't feel worth the cost, so I'm thinking diamond 2+.

A lot of people might give me crap about wasting money or screwing up people's games, but that's fine. I'm still not dead set on doing it. Just interested in your experience.

Tryed playing on a friends dia 1 account a year or two back, played as tryhard as i could, played my main udyr(buffed at the time), got destroyed hard af, tryed another game of adc also got rekt even harder. People dont understand that the difference in being dia and plat isnt so much in the skill, its more about game knowledge, warding, pathing, playing meta champs, and knowing what works well with the team comp you have. And also, i realized that most of the people in dia are doing their best not to die, while in plat or under people are focused more on kills, just a whole different mind set...

It's better to buy a Proguides or Skill Capped subscription and watch those. Coaching is also a good option if you're impatient since they can quickly point out your mistakes for you. More often than not you can figure out the same stuff that a coach would say from studying SC and PG.

I'm not affiliated with them, it's what I used to accelerate my climb though.

I know that dying is the biggest concern next to winning. You can win a game with no kills on your team or being extremely behind. I'm not diamond. /idk



Also if ARAM was ranked, I'd play that and get Diamond EZ. IM ARAM GOD

He now decides "fuck it, im not gonna grind up to challenger when im the same person who was Challenger a week ago."

I was once asked to sub in for a team I was coaching. The team was high challenger and I was around low master at the time.

Safe to say we went 0/6 in botlane and lost the entire match at 22 minutes.

skill gap is huge, even at these elos which seem so close.
