Bard and o3 with 059

Deca said that Bard and o3 are exalt exclusive, would 059 still be possible to use?

I doubt it, even if 059 found a way to bypass the restriction, the native flash client probably doesn't have the necessary code to even work with playing bard or the assets to access O3.

We can only hope 059 will create hacks for Exalt after support for Flash officially drops.

Yeah what the first guy said, the way assets are read and used in Unity is different, so if an XML and sprite was added to the flash client, the server would need corresponding info that matches the client side, but Unity doesnt share the same server side that Flash relies on, they run on different sources, but the same database.

I dont know much about the realm modifying scene but thats my best guess.

All the files are already in the flash client as it needs to support other players being a bard, it's a simple case of removing the "if bard no clicky" in char select and telling rotmg you are actually on unity and bard works fine

Yeah I was actually just wondering what my bard character slot would look like if I logged onto flash, if it would show up as the "ART" symbol or whatnot lol, I wouldn't put it past DECA to not add any of the bard assets into flash though as a tactic to push everyone onto Exalt.

Holy shit, that's amazing! I've tried everything, but Exalt has extremely inconsistent performance on my system; one night I finally got it working flawlessly, I then wake up the next day and it's choppy, the FPS is like a frog hopping all over. I have a strange question though; I've been playing legitimately for awhile now, and I wanted to know if I can make it as close to a ordinary client that works with Bard and O3 as I can?

To the other comments, I don't see this even being too hard, simply changing a packet that looks something like (Can.PlayBard) to YES instead of NO, which makes the server think you're on exalt, while still being able to play Bard. Not all that much changes server-side with Exalt from what I understand. Deca has extremely weak checks like this, they don't go through all that much effort to prevent things; their developers are lazy. All of Bard's features work absolutely fine on Flash (The point about other Bards' functionality because of other players is a excellent example of this), with Bard on Flash not clickable (and if he's your last played class and you click "PLAY" to start as him you get a special error message and last I heard a 10 minute DC)

Client is working on realmstock, no bard though
