This recent ban wave put me way past my third banned account -- Will I get HWID banned if I go back to my main, in which I've never cheated? Does the HWID ban also automatically apply a game ban? If so, how long do I have until I have to get my new PC?

if hwid, takes like 30 mins for a ban to set in (after you open dbd)

could be you that you don't have serial IDs (which is unlikely).....

Each of your hardware has an unique identification number aka serial ID , some worded differently...

Hardware's fingerprint.
Observation: Some don't have that "id".

you swap parts between bans. i did aswell and got hwid banned after the 4º ban.

I agree with the others, it seems like you are a lucky guy. To check if you have serial numbers or not, here are the commands:

*A bunch of 0's or Default string means that the PC part can't be identified and therefore the devs can't ban it*

*I don't really know if you can be banned by MAC address (the network identifier), get a WiFi adapter if you want to be 100% safe*

Motherboard:

wmic baseboard get serialnumber

HDD:

wmic diskdrive get Model,Manufacturer,serialnumber

Network card:

wmic nic get MACAddress,Manufacturer

RAM:

wmic memorychip get serialnumber
