Been trying to get this to work with the new update without success. Can others confirm this isnt working?
@flynn1 new DLC update released today. Can we still use this tool for ONLY engine.ini modifcations (aka FPS boosting) or is pak file modding not possible anymore?

Doesn't seem to be working with 4.2. The script doesn't seem to be able to unpack the PAK files anymore.
(edit) So it seems that they encrypted the PAK files so they can't be unpacked or have config files, etc. pushed into them any more. I'm assuming, I don't know a lot about this stuff.
But it also seems that they reverted it so that you can change some settings in the AppData Engine.ini file again! I was able to turn off anti-aliasing there and that's all I really care about.

@flynn1
It's not working anymore. I did see a post about you updating it, but i don't see it anymore. Perhaps they updated so you can't mess with the config anymore? No idea.
Latest version working perfect for me on 4.2.0. My engine.ini is simple. No fog, brighter red stain and +120 FoV. Also added some audio commands to try improve sounds.
@flynn1 - great work, thank you so much.
@yevvac
How did you get yours to work? With what @GSenTLL had said, the files do look like they were encrypted and cannot be opened/modified using the config installer. I've personally tried both methods today to no success. At this point, we have to wait for an update to bypass the encrypted file.
Though I am no expert or too knowledged in these parts. So even if it isn't encrypted as I also think it is. The installer doesn't work nonetheless. Otherwise I'm doing something wrong. I'll just wait for an update.
@ShiEv
I just used the updated config installer flynn1 posted. It's in his first post on page 1 of this thread, the file name is " configs_1005_mpgh.net.zip ".
To those asking for my engine.ini , that is no problem to share. I'm not sure if I have permission to post external links but this is just to pastebin for the engine file. Hope that is ok. (also I am aware of a duplicate entry in the engine file for 2 lines, it's not an issue)

I'm sure I've tried the second option that he had in his first post already. But i'll give it another try with my current config, if not. I'll try yours.
Edit: Oh, Snap. It does indeed work. What did I do wrong? Maybe the SSL Bypass doesn't work. Dang. Sitting here waiting for an update when it was already working. Thanks @yevvac

@yevvac
I'm trying the steps you typed out with no luck. I keep getting the black error message box whenever I try to install the engine.ini file.
@ligertiger22
Download on the first page the second download option. (File Type: zip configs_1005_mpgh.net.zip). Place it within a folder and make sure windows doesn't delete any files due to it thinking its a virus.
run the program as "Admin" and don't select any of the options. SSL/Python. Just choose your "Engine.ini" profile and install. Should work after.
tried those exact steps with that pastebin and ran as admin and set the file as read only.
Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 153] ICU data directory was not discovered: ../../../DeadByDaylight/Content/Internationalization ../../../Engine/Content/Internationalization
keep getting this error message:
