How does soldering, breadboards etc work? For NFC

I'm doing an assignment to make a student access card thing. I have a raspberry pi and jumper wires. I need to get a board (preferably PN532 NFC module board). I have no idea what needs to be soldered and what doesn't or how the breadboard works. I want to buy a board that I don't need to solder anything. Can someone help me out. How do I figure out if the pins that are already soldered onto the board is enough.

    Some items I found:
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PN532-NF...U/302260997120
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mini-PN5...e/123775123092

Are the pins enough for reading and writing NFC cards?
I barely use MPGH IM, Send me a private message to reach me faster!
Also I currently don't sell anything!

based on the image if you get the pin header and module separately then you have solder them, it would take 3-5 min
You can use the jumper wire and do the connections. You can use PVC tape/gluegun to make it firm

you will be mostly using VCC,GND,MISO,MOSI and few other pins

What about these pins? Is this not enough to start using it on a breadboard?

    yes
It depends on the circuit connection, breadboard is optional. You can do the whole connection without breadboard. But If you use breadboard its well organized. If you are a beginner then use a breadboard.
