i've been facing alot of problems since i was doing this all but here i am, Managed to got to character selection and started looking up protocols and got packets to dump and i have to establish networking and connect to the gateway server so yeah, shit ton of work to go but i am proud

Glad to see you coming this far!
2014 client is a good choice, one of the last good years of BlackShot and hopefully still compatible.
So yeah, I'd like to do so much mods for this game like upscaling the in-game textures into quality and maybe when it becomes possible, we would have new custom gamemodes as well. Surely the first thing to do is making all cash weapons BP and rebalancing the weapon stats.
But most of all, huge thanks to you for having the will to make the private server for us all to relive the nostalgia!

World Wide Connectivity is as simple as creating separate servers to avoid distance lag which was what Garena has done so its not something out of the ordinary, they just didn't establish one for those in the europe and australia because there was already another company that was hosting there.
