This section seemed kind of dead, which is a shame because it is important.
I've decided to write a short, basic guide on how you can make improvements on your Security and Privacy.
- Encryption & Password Manager
- Antivirus & Keylogger
- Browser & Search Engine
- VPN, RDP & VM
- Mac Address Changer
- Spyware (WINDOWS 10!)

Let's get started.
Encrypting your files is the best and easiest way to secure your data. If anyone is trying to access your files or gets their hands on your computer you can feel safe if you have encrypted your device. The best tool for this is Veracrypt and it is very easy to set up. If you have any problems you can find a detailed guide on their website.

Storing your passwords is great and let's you organize and have easier access to unique and good passwords. Using your go-to passwords on every site you register is a big nono. I use keepassxc which makes it easy to organize, generate and secure your passwords. Make sure you use a good masterkey and memorize it. Taking a sentence from a book is a good way to go about it.

Anti-virus and Anti-keylogger
Premium version of Malwarebytes keep most of the trash away, it is great for common malware and ransomware.
You can find really cheap premium activation codes here on the forum.

Im sure you are all aware of what a keylogger is. It basically records your computers keystrokes in order to get sensitive information. To protect yourself against this use a scrambler. I use KeyScrambler.

Browser & Search Engine
Brave browser, what a godsend. If you're still using chrome or some stupid shit uninstall it rn and get on Brave. It is basically chrome but waaay more private and secure. It has a built-in ad & tracking blocker.

As for the search engine, use Duckgogo and you will not be tracked.
VPN, RDP & VM
Using a VPN is ESSENTIAL while browsing the web, if you don't have it, say goodbye to your anonymity. Here you should make sure you choose a VPN that does not store logs, which can be tricky since they are all fucks and always have some kind of logs and when the authorities come knocking their word to you aint shit. Sweden has great laws to protect anonymity which makes vpns from here more strict when it comes to privacy. I use Mullvad vpn, its cheap (€5/month) and HQ (use bridge mode if you don't mind a small raise to ping).

RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) is basically an entirely different computer that you can access and control from your own. On windows you need to active it in settings, and on Mac there is an app for it in the appstore which works great (Microsoft Remote Desktop). It's a great layer of security. There are multiple good services on the forum for this, otherwise PM me.
If you have sensitive information on your RDP (wallets, files, keys) protect it! It is just as vulnerable as your PC. Protect against bruteforces, block and manage connections, filter by countries and even protect it from the local administrator with RDS-Knight.
RDSKnight (14d trial, there are cracked older versions) - https://www.rds-tools.com/rds-knight/
A VM (Virtual Machine) is very much like an RDP but without the need of an internet connection and will be hosted locally. It is still a great layer of security but note that you will have to same IP as your computer, so you need to use a VPN and change MAC Address.
Mac Address Changer
A MAC Address identifies your physical device. If you want to hide this and appear to be on another device than your own, TechnitiumMAC is a good program.

Most of you probably use Windows 10 which by now is basically a spyware. Configure and change your privacy settings with WDP, a solid ass free program to just feel a bit better about your privacy.

Burner Phone! Best option is definitely a local sim-card and phone. Otherwise there are multiple disposable number services out there like TextNow.
If you're feeling extra paranoid about whatever you are doing...
Tails OS, install it on your flashdrive to get a preconfigured OS designed for anonymity.
More info and download for Tails can be found here -
Thank you for reading my guide. There are obviously tons of more stuff you could do but I think I covered most of the bases. If this guide helped you in any way or if you learned something useful, please leave a thanks.
If you have any questions you are welcome to PM me.
