BO2 feels like an arcade game. Thats why it was so fun for me. That and the people.

MW is 100% a next gen game. It looks amazing. The sounds are amazing. But the only problem is that there is Skill Based Matchmaking and you are encouraged to camp with all the map designs and doors.

Maybe CoD will never get back to that level. People have gotten so sensitive lately. I saw on the COD Subreddit they wanted to ban all the people with the n word in their names? Thats stupid as fuck. People were complaining about being a girl and being cussed out. Etc. Its just a different time. The people are who truly made CoD, and we probably wont see that again. At least until SBM is fixed or removed. Fuck going tryhard every game to get one shitty killstreak.

is there a difference in the studios making it? seems from the last time i played cod (ghosts), infinityward games usually have more campy maps, whereas treyarch has less campy maps. hoping it is still the same concept. i loved bo2 and the non campy maps were so fun to play

Yeah exactly. When your outfit in the game matches the colours of the map designs, then why not just camp lol. Bo2 was amazing with colours. I like the vibrant ones in Nuketown and Hijacked.

Yeah, ive seen some Pro Player teir lists. Through it all you can see that people overwhelmingly liked BO2 and BO1. They all hated WW2 and Infinite Warfar. BO3 and MW2 were seen as close to or in equal footing with BO2/BO1. Basically Treyarch hit gold with their Black Ops series. 3 and 4 were not as good as 1 and 2. if you look at those games they are pretty arcade-like and extremely similar. Whether it was the right place at the right time, I dont think any future Black Ops will ever hit the notoriety that BO2 hit. That game was HUGE. They will need to pull something out of their ass to appease the audience.

Ghosts ive heard was the most fun S&D game ever. They tried something new, but it sucked in all of the other modes. Sledgehammer Games fucked up. WW2 and Ghosts fucked them over and I think they were set to make the next call of duty, but something changed and they aren't doing it anymore? MW was meant to be a tactical game, but it just turned into a camp fest.

MW could be a good game, but only if Infinity Ward gets rid of SBMM. I dont know if you have played the recent cod, but skill based matchmaking is the #1 complaint among all players. In the old days you could run around and shit on little kids. Now days you get put in a lobby with similar people to you and you have to try your ass off to even go at a positive KD. They released MW2 maps, and they are capable to make better maps, but the SBMM is the one thing stopping people form having fun.

TLDR: There is a pretty big difference when studios make it. Sledgehammer has a bad history of making shitty games. Teryarch is basically COD Black Ops (insert number here), and Infinity Ward likes to make more tactical games like the current MW and Ghosts. Either way you get fucked with Skill Based Matchmaking being forced to tryhard every fucking game.
