Making public scam reports as read only?

Wouldn't it be possible to make the public reports about scammers / impersonators into read only to those who didn't make the thread or moderators within the group?

Its a nice suggestion but sometimes there are users who can contribute to the report like when in cases of others being scammed as well or having information that can help, its easier to sort through the mess than have approval and delay potentially useful information.

Global Moderator =/= Administrator. And, this is not a thread to ask why a global mod is banned, it was his/hers b-day (at this point idfk who to call which gender, they switch them like socks)

Wouldn't it be possible to like, make it so that the people who don't often or aren't part of marketplace regularly, aren't able to reply/talk in those threads unless they become more active in it? Just a random assumption on how things could work.

I think the point he is trying to make is why create more work on Admins to structure that section to be like that instead of just leaving it the way it has been for years and just be visual on shitposts being made on reports

I know what the point he is making, but limiting the shit posts in market place would also be nice, but then again, I just a nice suggestion, but the reply from is nice.

Not a good idea imo, as other users can and will contribute to the thread as well.
They want users to continue posting. When rules are set up that limits conversation, it naturally will cause a section to look inactive. That's why it's best to just let the conversation be a bit loose on a scam report, and if there is any particular post out of the ordinary, it will get deleted. Unless it is a rampant issue, then there may be a justification there.... Then again, really up to staff.
