how do you get the iw04 inside contents? mines just in one file (iw_04.iwd)

just double click on it,
if the pop up opens saying which program to open it with,
open it with "winrar" or "pakscape"
if not just Google download 1 or the other, if you don't have either of them.

i like PEid better than CRC fixer though. There are more options and plugins. if you havent tryed it you should check it out.

so peid adds 3 lines & delete's last four, and fixes the crc?... VM link :P... i download something named that not sure if its it hahaha....

question when i cut out the last 4 bytes in the new modded file via hex editor it prompts me telling me that the file will change in size is this normal? also after click yes to cutting the last 4 bytes and saving i use the crcfixer tool after its done my file size is not correct with the original iwi file any ideas as to what im doing wrong i followed your tut to the letter??.. any help would be appreciated thanks and yes i have read all other tuts on here

You must have used CrCfixer wrong. It's suppose to change the file size then you fix it in CrCfixer. I would go back and try again.
