[SOLVED] Did i got banned??

Okey...today like a few hours ago i tried to play MW 2 but i couldnt

when i clicked on the "Play" button at the main menu it says:"connecting AlterIWNet..." and it wont stop...i tried to change the alteriwnet.ini like in the guide i found to change there the server

to put this line:Server=server.alteriw.net

and still this problem...thats weird cuz yesterday i played and every thing was going well...

i know i cheated

so the reason this is happening is i got banned?

when i got banned in my first account, a "Cheat Detected" message popped up while trying to start mw2... Sorry man , i dont know about your case :S

''Cheat detected'' pops up if you are banned on ''legit'' mw2 so not a crack or sth like alter iw net.
the threadstarter is talking about alter iw net.
