How does a website/server/forum ban or unban users?

Hi there, I'm a user of a gaming client called Ranked Gaming (RGC). Recently I got an account ban, IP ban, and server ban (or client ban, I cannot remember the detail). Even if I change my IP and Mac address, the administrator of the site could still track me and ban me immediately. I'm so curious about the principle behind it. How could the admin detect and track me and get notified? I tried to Google it but no useful comments. Anyone here please help me? Thanks

Have you tried on another device? They can do this in several different ways.

At the most they are just scaring you, they have your Computer Name , IP , MAC , HWID , and user name i'd think. If I was you id try this 1st :

1) VPN , or change the IP (google it, you have to reset router and device)
2) Change computer name and make a new user account then Make a new account on Ranked Gaming on new network
3) Try to log in and play
4) If your banned

Then it's your HWID

Then you need HWID spoofer or changer or different device.
