help with lagg???

ok so iv watched you tube and i see every one with fast combat arms computers and i noticed i cant look at 2-4 people without lagging so i have: ran game booster, defraged my hard drive, defraged combat arms, used ccleaner, deleted files i dont need, gotten better internet provider, and im still the same old laggy computer i can only go to 2v2 matches to not lagg as bad getting a new computer is NOT an option. what pisses me off is that my brother has the SAME computer i do and he is runnin smoothly just like on youtube and i have done EVERYTHING HE HAS to speed his computer up but im still laggy..
i use windows xp, do you guys have any ideas on how to boost my computer speed?

when i play ca i turn on fps on one of my hacks and it says 15 - 9 fps on a 2v2 match
8v 8 is like 2 - 1

i have the most ram my comp can get my compute is like 10 years old or sumthin and the max is 958 mb RAM i put in 2 gb of ram but i can only have 958 mb of ram witch is kinds wierd

no it isnt... old motherboards have that kind of limit on them
might be a RAM stick failure or a hardrive failure
