The civil unrest, or "civil war" some may deem, I think, is inevitable. Due to how close this is, I think whichever side loses, will claim fraud and go nuts. Both sides are fueled with hatred of the other and are ready to incite it. This will be overplayed by the media, which is what they want, and Americans with no high status will be killed. It'll be mostly hysteria, but just like covid, that hysteria will manifest fear unto you, making you want to stock up on essentials and ammo. Dark times are coming.
