I have been visiting MPGH from time to time to check different sections including general, and also been waiting for such an announcement. Very glad that it's soon!

Both things are basically being worked on simultaneously. My hope is that the new and improved chat and the different ways to access it will be ready by the time the forum upgrade is ready.
