Takes around 1 to 3 days after someone report you via support. You don't even have to play against someone for anyone to report you btw.
1 (one) report is enough to get you banned.

You can get banned within a few hours when reported, it depends how fast their staff handles the report and steam. but usually its 1-3 days. Once you edited your save file even a bit, added a few perks, bloodpoints, anything, they can see its edited and ban you if someone reports and even thinks you are a cheater. Lowering the ban chance does not exist, only way to keep it "low" is not to have hacked legacy and use it. and hope that you dont get banned.

So:
2 of my accounts i added reasonable amount below 150k AC ->both are fine to this day..
1 i decided to go crazy purely to see if i get bent or somehow it will survive I added around half million AC ->Exactly 13H:44min after addition account got BENT.

So here u go, exact time to the minute for u... but like i said its really differs from case to case.

Yea really steam codes for DBD base version are so cheap now literally few EUR get urself few burner/test accounts bro.
And never start testing something like AC farmer ( BHVR main INCOME currently ) on main.

Some say Legacy or IRI shards are same dangerous but thats BS. AC is the most dangerous to tamper with im saying this from my own experience too

im adding to one of my accounts 10-20k IRI every few days for months my deliverance level is fuckin 60+ on this account that dont even has 100hrs played lol
yet months passing and still no ban...

the same account created at start of 2020 has all possible legacy unlocked. Also no ban for a year.Sure im not playing or flaunting this legacy much in games for people to see, but still.

Nobody will convince me that AC is same dangerous as those other two...nah AC is way more dangerous to tamper with.

Got banned after 4 months. Since this I just buy DbD on Steam account set to Argentina (there it costs like 1 dollar) and I just continue playing
