Question 20XX or 30XX graphics cards?

So I'm looking to chip into some new graphic cards in early 2021 and I'm not sure if I should go higher end 20XX card or go with a nice 30XX GPU. I use it mostly for gaming, editing and such. ALL opinions, price suggestions, links to shops or hints to where I can get some, ALL are appreciated.

Would like to decide by the newyears.

I'm looking to upgrade within the first couple of weeks/months in 2021 which is why I am wondering which way to go as they should fluctuate any time soon... Atleast that's my prediction.

Avoid the 20xx gen, for real. They are the first gen to introduce RX cores, so the technology is not at it's best and prices are too high.

The gen 30xx is way better, a good 3080 is cheaper than a 2080ti and it's way better in terms of performance.

+ gen 30xx has more refs, from 3050 to 3090, with very interesting perf/price.

For low budget i'd recommend the 3060ti that just popped, and for high end configs i'll recommend 3080 or 3080ti that'll pop out soon.

If you can find one get a 30XX, otherwise you can get away with a used 2060Super or something along those lines for the next 5 to 6 years.
