Anonymise Bitcoin Transaction through Monero?

Hey guys,
I usually buy BTC anonymously with cash. But let's say I'd only have the possibility to buy BTC or any other crypto with my credit card.
If I buy Monero and then change the Monero to BTC or pay through xmr dot to , does it guarantee a high anonymity?

Monero(XMR) is still the most secure form of crypto out there. Plus, many of the sites that you can you to btc-xmr converters work just like a btc tumbler, only you are not getting coins from the same blockchain. Those exchanges merge tons of transactions together for when people want to clean their assets the other direction.
