Bitcoin and its long term value

The reason i feel like bitcoin is a bad investment long term and why I sold it all off was because it has nothing backing it besides hype, minimal paypal support, and an outdated crypto system try to change my mind, the reality is banks will make there own digital currencies like they have done in china, where you can scan a bill on your phone to pay for goods, if bitcoin gets supported by major institutions this could all change very fast but it has to have a use something more streamline in order to be a safer investment and not a gamble.

Anyways that's all reply to this with your opinion on the matter and explain what you think please

Bitcoin has no real world value. The data is meaningless and worthless. It's all gambling and speculating value based on that.

Crypto is here to stay, if you're smart you're holding funds for the next generation of currency.

People who go against change usually get left in the dust. People who adapt to the changing world fast tend to be the best off.

Linux, Open Source, Television, Vehicles, Self Driving Cars, Calculators, Computers, Electricity, etc all replaced something fundamentally inferior. MPGH grew so huge so incredibly fast because it did the same as well, making hacks open, free, and accessible.

    Retirement Planning = No

High flux, no regulations, and not insured. I personally am not taking it into account for my retirement planning. I am however, going to invest into it after it crashes again.

Overall, do not invest if you are wanting any real stability, income, or planning for retirement. Stay away if you are new to investing in general. Read a few books, watch some videos on youtube, and be sure to get your temple (your mind) in order for the volatility.

I don't think anyone is arguing that crypto is a game changer or has some worth. The question was around bitcoin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO the issue with crypto is that it's supposed to be used a currency.

Currently 80% the world uses it as an investment tool, and another 15% to buy drugs with it.

Literally nobody uses bitcoin for the normal transactions it should be used for.

Bitcoin is definitely trash. Still a good investment in a small portion (like 5%). Not right now ofcourse. Fools are the ones buying Bitcoin.

PS: PayPal is adding huge support for cryptocurrency in terms where U can buy it directly from PayPal

BTC was more as a POS of what a blockchain is and can do. And I truly think that a blockchain is the future, however I don't think the cryptocurrencies which also run on a blockchain are the future. But it might be a solid replacement for local banks.
