    is it possible to remove/buff out scratches of a monitor?

    There's a $300 monitor on sale for $80 right now on ebay (it has no stand) but I was planning on buying a triple monitor vesa mount anyway. The seller says the screen has some possible scratches and they have 10+ monitors available. I really wanna buy a few of these monitors since they're really nice displays but knowing my luck im probably gonna get some beat up ones.

    How can I go about buffing out some displays so I can get a good deal?

    There's a plastic layer in front of most new LED monitors and it should be really easy to replace (and cheap)
