    Small claims court

    Looking for advice here,

    I was scammed for about 700$ last month as I was trying to buy crypto currency from someone. This someone is a person I know IRL, but have no idea where he actually lives to give him a visit. Anyways, he scammed me and I have yet to see my money. He replies to me when I msg him and tells me “soon he will have it”. I sent him the money via a bank transfer and those guys denied my claim. I also made a police report and they are doing an investigation, I doubt they would do anything.

    Anyone have an idea on what I could do? There’s no way I can find where this guy lives. I want to make a small claims court, but not sure if I have a good case against him. There are no chat logs or anything because we used Snapchat. Lmk what and if anything you boys can suggest

    Either what dave said, or call the cops on him. $700 dollars aint enough for claims court, but you could try to recoup or press charges for theft.

    After the scam I told the ban I basically got scammed and its a fraud scheme and shit and they still denied my claim. I should of done that now that I think about it.

    Idk if I can call the bank now and tell them I don’t recognize this charge
