It has been a long wait for that, Gab went and got a life so it ended up all falling to Dave. He's been working on it slowly, among other things, and I think it's almost done.


Either way, IM hasn't even been around for 8 years.

For the forum upgrade, not sure waiting for a few updates to come through which seems like a better option than us doing extra work for no reason. Should be good to launch within a few months.

It's not abandoned, but Dave has been working on rewriting the backend of IM. Once that's done we can get a lot of the other stuff rolling for it. Progress? @Dave84311

We ran two promotions for discounts during the holiday season back when it launched like 8+ years ago, haven't really ran it since and no plan to resume it.

He has upgraded servers since then pretty sure, but vBulletin is ancient boomer tech and it's slow. That combined with people trying to ddos doesn't exactly leave things speedy.

After the forum upgrade, we should see significant performance increases.

Not really sure about that, changing from vBulletin to something won't change anything if the site is being ddos. I suggest to stop using any control panel like cpanel, vesta or etc. instead. manually re-config your server's configuration. And usng cloudflare won't help. there's a lot of way to get the real server's ip. unless mpgh is using proxy servers. ddos-guard.net > cloudflare. Layer7 attack isn't really that hard to mitigate too.

Anyway, let's just wait for the update.
