The more money they print the more they dilute the supply. These helicopter drops may solve short-term problems for a few needy people, but in the long run they just increase inflation and everything gets more expensive. I'm not sure how weakening the buying power of the US dollar accomplishes anything.

Besides, most people will just go burn their stimulus money on something frivolous, lining the pockets of corporations even further. Not sure how that fixes anything.
