    Wallet with Lower Transaction Fees?

my current btc wallet is crazy! it's charging me around $25.00 for sending $50.00! Which wallet do you guys use which you can set up to the lowest possible transaction fee?
    Thanks!

If your wallet allows you to set your own fees, then they are most likely charging you the right amount for a fast transaction. Bitcoin transaction fees are high. Current average fee is $18, so it looks like they are charging you about the right amount. https://ycharts.com/indicators/bitco...ransaction_fee

Thank you. It's just crazy, because no matter how low the amount is, the transaction fee is still $20+. Crazy

It's almost a correlation of the price. High price = high transactions fees.
Fee's were going down and bitcoin was going down then elon musk made the 1.5b bitcoin investment announcement

Use Bitcoin original's implementation aka bitcoin-core. Once you set it up, you can send transactions with whatever fee you want. However you should understand the possible consequences of doing so.

I don't think it's too bad for the receiver to wait 24 hours to receive the btc right? I have to send bitcoins to multiple receivers, and i am losing a lot due to this transaction fee. It's getting crazy.

Up to you and the receiver. Keep in mind there's a thin line between sending with estimated confirmation at 24 hours and getting stuck forever.

While I do love Elon Musk... I wonder why he isn't under investigation right now.

Trust me, during these times the 24 hour estimation is usually like 3-4 days. And no, the coins don't get stuck forever. Eventually the mining pool your transaction is in discards your transaction because no one wants to confirm it.

He hasn't been investigated because everyone have been paid accordingly
usually mine took around under 24 hours, but the fee was like $10.+ it's still crazy, i wonder how others are able to make it so low. I am using blockchain, but it doesn't allow lower than that.

Jess, look into the Lightning network. I posted a whole thread on it, feel free to go have a look. The lightning network was built specifically to scale transactions with super cheap transaction fees. It's not a separate shit coin scaling solution, it runs purely on top of the Bitcoin network. There are a bunch of lightning wallets available like Phoenix for Android and BlueWallet for iOS. Thing is, to benefit from the speed (nearly instant) and cheap transactions (less than a cent) the other entity you're sending to must also use a lightning wallet.

The fees for the low amounts make it almost worth not buying some stuff.
