1.5 billion invested into bitcoin right after stock market was heavily manipulated by "redditors" and the price of bitcoin shot up. pretty convenient how his board gave approval on such short notice, eh?

and now after investing, he deliberately lowers bitcoin. 10/10 would panic sell because prices will most definitely go down, forever /s

But a 1.5 billion investment into a market cap of 850+ billion is not enough to substantially move the market. Not sure where the claims that BTC shot up by redditors came from either, that's untrue if you are talking about the price spikes (aka 5k to 20k or the 20k to 50k, which were both triggered by the halving as well as new buyers).

But regardless, Elon's tweets do hold power in the markets. You can hate that or you can love it, just depends how you're utilizing it. It's better than hedgies being quiet about their market manipulation lol

Was referring to GME's manipulation by redditors, not BTC. Was pointing to the fact that too many things happened at the same time, which cannot be a coincidence.
Why? Because by having a community like reddit with "normal people like us" hold power over stocks, you are guaranteed that the story spreads, and what did that lead to? People reading more on stocks = Learning how the market work = Take note that crypto is a thing.

And what happened after? Musk goes on promoting Dogecoin, a worthless coin, to make people more comfortable with the idea.
Too much speculation? Sure, but those are financial whales and geniuses who literally play the entire world's economy, so nothing is out of reach for them.
