    Tech inquiry part 2

    So I have a Dell G7 laptop w/ 2 S2716DG.

The problem is, I can only run the monitor w/ 144 hz. Now the question is, is there any way for me to run both monitors (S2716DG) at 144 hz?

I am already using the type C to DPI port.

Why does it matter what HZ it runs at? Are you gaming on both?

    Not really gaming on both...

Is it not possible to do it w/ the use of a converter or adapter? It needs to use display cable towards the monitor.

To keep manufacturer costs down they often provide HDMI 1.2 and lesser bandwidth components. I don't see how you would get more bw from a laptop or PC without upgrading and paying more for replacement hardware.

Laptops will always be underpowered. Gaming monitors (144hz) generally need gaming video cards. If you're talking about a 144 hz refresh rate, thats quite demanding, depending on the resolution. Your laptop generally shouldn't be able to deliver it at any thing north of 1080p at 144 hz. Two? Forget about it.

First. You need to have a 144hz display monitor.

Second, you need to use a DipsplayPort cable. i just consider that to be the best way. Your laptop should have a DisplayPort connection.

Third. I am guessing that you are trying to run your laptop screen and then another monitor. Laptops dont have Nvidia Control panel last time I checked so you need to follow a youtube guide on how to turn on 144hz.

    i have 144 hz on 1 monitor

i need something like an adapter because i am already using the type c to DPI port.

mini dp causes screen flickering. hdmi to dp cable only allows 60 hz.
