I got both, the Pfizer. The first was fine, but with the second I felt absolutely shitty for about 30 hours. Massive headache, sweating, aching pains.

1st Shot: All my pain areas flared up, felt like someone was stabbing my leg where I broke it every time I took a step. Nothing I normally take for pain was working. Ended up hitting the THC vape hard after work. That subdued the pain. Pain was gone after a week. My arm was sore too, but where my leg was 8/10, my arm was 2/10.

2nd Shot: Got it yesterday. This time I made sure I went over 24 hours without an NSAID (I take 75mg Diclofenac Sodium), drank 2.5 bottles of water before I had to get it. My arm is throbbing at 2/10. Leg pain is nil, but my foot hurts a little bit, 1/10. Throat feels a bit dry, but could be effects from external sources.

I got the Moderna.

Yes this is true, you can still get COVID. But all the vaccines give you protection against death/hospitalization/serious illness so you're good on all that

Usually the second shot you feel more side effects, which is a good thing to know the vaccine is working

can confirm, had the rona in october and now my shot, had insane fever like 8-9h afterwards, with headache and shivering
not pleasant but def worth it as i can do so much more stuff now
