900 up 500 down, used to have fiber at almost always 2000 but moved outta the big city. Currently running a ubiquiti home network so my speeds dont really equate since I am sending it to multiple access points and running it thru a firewall etc

Well, maybe they think its shit because of the fact that in some countries, when you buy a service, you get the same speeds on both, for some people (like content creators on Twitch) that is a huge downer, here in Estonia, when you buy 1GB internet, you actually get 1000/1000, instead of 1000/500 or 1000/50, it was like this / still is if you're "poor" and/or do not have fiber build into the house.
