It allows you to pick up weapons from a distance.

Its supposed to make the screen go black if someone else takes a screenshot.
But i do agree with you, there is really no point, because most of the time, like God601+Coryster are using Gellins base, except modified, half the time if you do take a screenshot, it just goes black.

It does two things, 1 is that it lets you open/close things from a far distance (Helpful in fireteam and other modes), and it also lets you pickup weapons from a far distance
