I didn't expect it too...? I was trying to tell him that's what happens when you inject the profile.

There's nothing updated for EGS AFAIK to unlock the survivors/killers.

How did you get the charms on the characters? I have figurine charms and tome charms that I don't own.

So from what I understand, the config which was needed to unlock the DLC characters & cosmetics is patched now on the Steam (& Epic games I believe) version so you're unable to permanently unlock them like you were able to back in the day. This is why when we inject these full profiles we aren't unlocking them, only getting the new offerings/ perks etc on our already existing characters.

This was confusing for me and I can see many others are in the same boat as we only really came here and needed these tools every half a year or so whenever something major was released so we'd often forget what we did/ tools we used etc.

It looks like as it stands, you are able to TEMPORARILY unlock all DLC/cosmetics using the market files posted in the designated thread with Fiddler running while you play, however I feel personally it isn't worth the hassle and you're better off waiting for a workaround or moving to another platform like the Windows Store version of the game which doesn't have this issue. You can freely unlock the DLC characters etc on that version from what I can tell.

Hope this clears up any confusion for returning people who're trying to unlock all DLC characters/ cosmetics.

i don't understand. just a few general questions since i'm new.
i'm on epic game launcher. all i want are just unlocked perks and items, no bloodpoints or currency/ cosmetics/ dlc. just perks and items.
so, all i need is flux's simple injector, and the profile? where do i put the profile txt file?
do i need anything else, like a save editor or cookie finder? when using the 1012 cookie finder, it asks to verify steam, but i don't want to use it for steam. does this matter? how can i get it to epic games?
for the cookie finder, what's this about needing an update for the ssl bypass? if there is an update, where is it, and if there isn't an update, how are some users able to inject this profile then?


i tried using the video tutorial from like 5 months ago that uses flux and fiddler, but without knowing how to use fiddler, the tutorial is near useless since i don't understand what's going on or how to get the same results as the content creator in the video.

If you look for Koalageddon. It's an exploit that allows you to unlock DLC for almost every Steam game. I've been using it since release and still have all DbD DLC.
