Abnormal CPU usage all of a sudden.

Hi and hello, I have had this problem where my computer randomly has its CPU at 30% on idle and after adding up all open processes CPU usage I do not reach said 30% or 60% or 40%, etc. Leading me to think I might have some kind of miner that neither Defender nor MWbytes can detect.
This started happening after a 2-week break from touching my PC.


Is there any AV that could detect it? (hopefully free or with trial)
Or an app that shows true CPU usage?

You could try using Process Hacker to track down the process causing this. The task manager is not good enough
