Note: This is my edition of grimoire, therefore major design changes will be coming.

 

Right now its sort of Retrofit. I had added a new design will images but VS decided to create hundreds of copies instead and make the file size over 100mb vs the 4.8 it is now.....I removed the theme but left the high contrast dark some of you seem to hate, complain enough and I'll add a custom color theme menu you can control . For those wondering what happened to my MPGH Loader project....grimoire was already 80% built so why not I will later include the MPGH loader within the core of Grimoire allowing the players to use the MPGH Loader and Grimoire Functionality at the same time.
A tester was having problems with items rejecting so let me know.

just a minor UI update, changed the bot menu to match the rest of the program instead of being a little off in theme.

This edition contains a flash patch effort, it should detect no flash and if ran as admin attempt to place the patch and run if possible. Best of luck.
For those with the variant of flash that needs EoL use Grimoire 3.6 Fixed for now.

Then it should run just fine with your version no need to ever run it as admin, the patch does not include adding itself to your registry as I'm hoping RE won't need it to be. For those that have flash like you it shouldn't affect.

As for memes comment on the matter, there are so many versions of flash with various different bugs, personally even using grim is a risk in my opinion. Yet here I am presenting updates. To put it simply flash is a pit of security problems. Although I'm not an asshole so my stuff is clean, the problem is half of you are running so many variants of flash idk whose already screwed, I know that if your PC already has security problems you wouldn't be able to delete the patch if presented in it's ocx form. Beyond that anyone using flash should be aware of it's risk anyone using flash variants below 32.0 should really consider getting rid of it....if you guys even can :/

Edit: the patch is only half finished being coded and may not work for everyone, I had forgotten my bad, my healing process is coming along well, so it shouldn't be too much longer before I'm back at it.

Bahaha, flash is in NO way secure. Do you code? Show me how secure it is smarty pants. There are so many holes in flash if any of us wanted we could have a field day. I'm not even a hacker and I learned to flash hack ....that's pretty f***ing bad bro.

It's not the flash itself that's bad it's what can be accessed and done through flash.

Honestly explain what you know that makes flash "not a giant hole" because I am curious and I'll listen if you have a real explanation.

Total number of flash vulnerabilities: 131 as of like 2017......
Now I'm not sure I'm allowed to link this so please let me know @meme sorry for tagging you just trying to avoid getting myself in MPGH trouble as usual.

Edit: On top of those exploits there are some very simple easy to do exploits in Visual Studio that will make a program when exposed to COM's pop clean even though normally it would get caught for multiple virus counts. Which only requires removing a single line of code. So combine the two and what do you have .... "a giant security hole" with access to all of your files/content.

But it must all just be a lie right.

Update-ish: The Aqw team & well probably mostly Spider implemented a Black-out room method that checks for External Interface Calls (a.k.a Grimoire), this is why after some odd hours you come back to nothing but a black screen. I was previously looking into it but had stopped, when I start coding again I will attempt to stop it from happening.

Also anyone logged in from a source other than the Launcher is probably very obviously noticed and potentially flagged. Although I do not think the aqw team is intending on stopping botting they intend to slow its true usefulness by adding in things to stop the bots once you've walked away. Which they have already done some of.

Since their team is now running a custom chrome browser(electron) they have probably implemented headers that swf's cannot. In short this means they can see who isn't connecting through the Launcher, that doesn't necessarily mean they know you are cheating but they can make a strong assumption. Anyhow enjoy your day _-_

Updated to windows 11 and its working but the patch does not. while grimoire can copy the file for you if ran as admin, you will still need to register the ocx like below:

Step Three: Download this software or manually register/remove the Flash.ocx (May require a system restart to begin working)
You Can Drag/Drop then Register with this: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash.ocx"
Done!

In the above reference you only need to download the program and register the file with this: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash.ocx" [remove the quotes]
For those that don't have a folder named Macromed in your "Windows\SysWOW64" you will need to create one before letting RE attempt to patch. Once done Grimoire should run even on windows 11 I will later be updating to make it easier. My bad.

I farmed undead artix for the token for 8 hours straight, killing it every 10 seconds, nothing. Not even the 5% drop.
I loaded artix launcher, on second attempt got both drops, and after that easily could farm the 5% drop.

Also, why is the software slowish? Idk, it feels slow.
Also, how do i turn off wasd for movement? its super annoying, as it works when im using in-game chat
Also, is there plugin guide? To farm some things id like to change how bot works, so it goes from room to room, without waiting extra 15 seconds before executing next line.

Glad to hear it's working, the slowishness maybe due to either PC limitations or because you are used to 3.8+ which Retro is not, this is a retrofit 3.8 with changes. Therfore many old bugs have returned that idk how they fixed at the moment because I don't know what all of them are so thank you. I'll get to creating an option to disable WASD and and I'm unsure about the room changes going so slow but I'll also look into adjusting that for you! Really thanks for the feedback!

Reduced drop rates are because they know you are cheating :/, they have implemented many measures to slow botting without the botters being as aware of what they are doing. Honestly its just things I haven't gotten to because I updated to windows 11 and haven't setup all the programs I need to modify flash files & etc.

Use a grimoire 3.8 plugin guide, I didn't code the original grimoire so I have no clue at all.

Last bot i used was Cetera bot, which was about 3-4 years ago. Before that i used Le bot 8.4 which was even longer time ago. They both no longer work.

i checked the code, when you walk from room to room, and you dont reach the destination, it waits 15 seconds. i kinda made plugin to fix it, it still needs some polishing.

In short what its intended to do, stores the X and Y position, tells u to go there, after 0.5 seconds starts checking if you are still in same cell or if youve reached the destination. It runs that check for 5 seconds, 50 times. If it fails, the task ends, and you proceed to next task.
Ill see about adding some random variation or something, to fix the problem where in few cases, it skips the walking. (thats why i have added 0.5 wait time before checks)
It happens kinda smoothly, walks from room to room, without much time wasted. A good way to grind pvp trophies.

Also. maybe you could make more stuff public, not private? So plugin can change or add things to the bot, overwrite some functions etc. i wanted to add a new button in the bot window which wouldnt wait as long for the walking, but it has to be a new window atm.
Also, about them knowing im botting, maybe they check the client? Cause using artix launcher i was botting as well, but doing it with auto clicker

Good ideas! I'll look into making more public and add static modifiers here soon for all of that!
