All I see around here is bomb North Korea, bomb North Korea, as if that would solve all the world's problems.

Like I posted here before, 4 DPRK submarines have gone off radar, they cannot be detected unless they launch their missiles or otherwise do something noisy. Imagine these subs parked in 4 big US ports. Hey, why not even New York? These subs can stay in the water for months, even years, awaiting orders from Pyongyang.

Now imagine if Kim Jong-il told them to fire their missiles at their designated city at an appointed hour unless he says otherwise. Imagine Pyongyang gets nuked and Kim Jong-il and most of the North Korean elite die. What happens then?

Those subs fulfill their orders. 4 major US coastline cities get nuked, because there is no time to react. The missile gets launched, 1 minute later it hits its target.

DPRK casualties: 3 million at most.
USA casualties: 50 million at least.

Most of this is unsupported, Wheres your information that their are 4 DPRK submarines missing and hiding in US ports? You listed DPRK casualties even though thats not the case, I assume you meant to list North Koreas casualties which would be around 24 - 25 Million. Also, You can not say that the casualties on the side of the US would be "At least 50 million" That is only a guess, not a proven statistic, so stop acting like it is.

where do you get that? hes the one pulling out of Iraq too fast, and then plunging right back into Afghanistan... neither of those is conquering... Just spreading the troops thin. We need to prioritize which threat is the largest and deal with them individually. that means finishing up training the Iraqis, THEN if we need to hunt through 'stan, for Al'Quaeda (sp?) we do that. or if its more important to investigate/invade NK, that's what we do. Its not conquering.... Its eliminating threats.

The problem is, we are too cocky. Even if we did bomb them, we would taste the after effect of our own actions. Many other countries wouldn't approve either, as the radiation will travel quite a bit from North Korea.
