I am using the MarketUpdater from the post that you linked with the Mappings file from the post that I initially linked, same issue is encountered. I also tested the MarketUpdater from 8.1.0, but obviously it does not work either. Same issue.

I tested 8.1.1 and it works as intended.
Try to put again settings (press N and Enter when MarketUpdater starts) then paste again path and AES key.

Make sure to replace DBD.usmap file in MarketUpdater's folder

I found out what the issue was. My Dead by Daylight (the game itself) was not updated to the latest version.
I had taken a break since April 2024, and I did not notice that the game was not auto-updated before I attempted to update this whole ordeal again.

Silly of me, needless to say.
Pardon the nuisance, and I thank you for your assistance.

No, refrain from trying to update with the MarketUpdater for 8.1.0, just use your market file previously generated. I can confirm it doesn't work with 8.2.0 (0 characters found error, as experienced by SoloViking above). Wait for 8otto to update

However I made a fallback for characters exactly for this situation, new killer is 37 and surv is 44

im trying to generate file with new market updater but i get "Mappings file outdated, contact @bhvr on Discord for the new mappings file."

Ok, this time they changed completely, that's why fallback function doesn't work..
Mappings updated on git.
To download from here you have to wait for approval.

If SleepyLia's Catalog API doesn't work you can't, at least you don't know how to decode with the key extracted by MarketUpdater

Quick heads up, your version of SleepyLia market updater doesn't work, needs new mappings file.
