So try this instead of reset certificate
Deactivate HTTPs decryption
remove certificate
press export certificate
press always next and save it where you want
Close Fiddler
Double click on exported certificate (for example on your desktop)
Press always Next
Open Fiddler
Enable again HTTPs decryption

If this doesn't work uninstall completely Fiddler, restart PC and install it again

I just want to express that I finally managed to solve the issue with my Fiddler (which had the "Certificate" issue).
If anyone wants the solution, I have included it below. It instantly resolved the issue completely as soon as I did the procedure (below). Hopefully nobody ever experiences this miserable issue.

1. Close Fiddler (make sure that it is not running).
2. Locate the following folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\
3. In that folder, locate and DELETE the following two folders (if one of them is missing, then delete the other): Crypto and Credentials
4. Congratulations. Start Fiddler.

Heya Threadgoers!

I'm confident I've followed all the most recent tutorials; though I'm sure I've made a mistake somehow since I've come from Xbox Live to Epic Games; I can't even connect now! It's giving me this log issue --

01:03:36:4060 !SecureClientPipeDirect failed: System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationExcep tion A call to SSPI failed, see inner exception. < The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted for pipe (CN=api.epicgames.dev, O=DO_NOT_TRUST, OU=Created by https://www.fiddler2.com).

It's also showing up with the same thing for xbox. Looks like I've made a mistake in regards to the certificate in the HTTPS tab of Fiddler; though I'm not sure what to do. Redoing my certificates seems to result in the same issue! Please advise! I really wanna play the new killer but I don't have a job at the moment. I remember I needed to use a certmaker at some point but I've lost the information in regards to it.

If someone could write up an up to date tutorial? Perhaps im8otto could be kind enough to write a new one on their git? Just a suggestion. Please get back to me soon!

I don't know what the reason is, but my catalog and player level files are empty, I tried using fiddler script, rules, but no result, I don't have unlocked characters and levels, although in the web I can add prestige at once. Version of market updater 8.1.1+ and usmap I made through dumper7, before that I tried usmap from 8otto. Can you tell me what is wrong?

Catalog and Killswitch are not created with usmap, but with SleepyLia's API that at moment doesn't work.. I can't fix it, just disable catalog rule

Thanks for your swift reply! Unfortunately, opening the three programs in the order you suggested has made no change. It simply gives me the 8,005 connection error and fiddler continues to report the same certificate issue.

If SleepyLia's Catalog API doesn't work you can't, at least you don't know how to decode with the key extracted by MarketUpdater

For me modify catalog has no sense so I will not develop methods to modify it..
If you really want to search on Google for dbd cdn decrypt download and download the exe it's called CDNCryptor.exe

The decryption of this software works, but the encryption doesn't work, but I tested in past and you don't need encryption to load the file, so you can use the decrypted one.
As code you can use the encryption code that is printed by MarketUpdater.
