How can I change just my Devotion? Works for STEAM?

So today i logged into fiddler / epic as usual to enjoy some DBD but weirdly enough with fiddler open epic fails to sign in and only allows an offline mode. I tried signing in without fiddler open and it works just fine. Is there an updated method or something I might be missing? It was working fine last week.

I tried what you said but with no luck. What i noticed is whenever i run fiddler, it starts a proxy or something and my whole internet doesnt work, hence why i couldnt log in. I turned off the "act as system proxy on startup" hoping that would work and although i was able to log in it doesnt seem to be actually capturing anything. Im just confused because it was fine not long ago. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated before i uninstall and reinstall everything.

Fiddler is a web debugging proxy! So yes Proxy is mandatory or it will not work, you have to disable Windows proxy when Fiddler is closed, but when you open it, proxy enables automatically.

Did you try to export the certificate to desktop? Try it to rule out this option.
Fiddler>Tools>Options>HTTPS>Actions>Export root certificate to desktop. Then follow the steps and try to open fidler and the game. sorry for my english i am using translator

Thank you @8otto for your information and help. Im honestly a noob when it comes to knowing what a "proxy" is or what fiddler does as a whole in general. Thanks to this reply though i tried doing as told but it wasnt working. It sent me down a rabbit hole though and i started looking into the re-verifying of all certifitcates and thats what led me to delete and reinstall every single certificate. Luckily this worked and im back to enjoying dead by daylight. Thank you both <3

Fiddler generate only 1 type of certificate, I hope you didn't uninstall important certificates (not for fiddler, but for the PC)

Leaving this message here because I had the same problem but found an easier solution. In Fiddler, Go to Tools -> Options -> HTTPS -> Actions -> Reset All Certificates. This will reinstall the Fiddler Root Certificate. Then open Epic Games and launch DBD with Fiddler closed, then before DBD launches, Launch Fiddler, and it will work.

I found the solution on an online forum from many years ago, these are the steps i followed word for word:

"The following steps worked for me :

Launch Fiddler
Click menu Tools > Options, then click on the HTTPS tab. Under the HTTPS tab, you should see Certificates generated by CertEnroll engine
Click the button names Actions and then choose Reset All Certificates and accept all ensuing prompts.
Then select Decrypt HTTPS traffic again.
Click OK"

I definitely hope i didnt mess with anything outside of my pc. It ended up working though and havent noticed any issues with anything since then.

I have an issue where some perks reset to lvl1 after a game,
this occurs on every survivor/killer in the game after 1 game.
I can get the perks to lvl3 by restarting the game again but it's bit tedious.
If anyone has any idea what might fix this I would greatly appreciate!

try to click on the bloodweb and then change inventory to 1,2 or 3. This happens to all of us and you must do it after each game it is inevitable

2 things I noticed
First thing:
Clicking on the bloodweb shows the survivor perks as lvl1 and it might reset those perks to level 1 after you play a game, possible fix is to avoid clicking the bloodweb tab alltogether

Second thing:
The Bloodweb file might not contain those specific perks that are getting reset, in my case it's Ada, Vittorio, and the Chamber girl survivor idk.

I'm trying to modify it by adding S38 and S37 in there but those might not be the exact itemIDs,
Some perks seem to be named by their name and some seem to be S (for survivor) and P01/02/03,
I'm guessing the person who made this knows about this so either the files needs to be properly updated or the issue is inevitable.
Anyways it's not that big of a deal so I'll deal with it as is!

PS: one thing came to mind, maybe the majority of the perks are not resetting because I used a FullProfile inject before the patch so it's only these few characters.

You must click on Bloodweb 2/3 times then swap loadouts in order to fix this "bug", you can't prevent this, the game after everymatch loads your real profile, opening and closing bloodweb willl do a Bloodweb request and my code is the Response (all unlocked)

haven't been here in years. Is injecting in DBD dead? All threads are from 2022. Does this all still work on steam with injecting profiles or has it been patched?
