My Retarded Joystick

Alright. The other day, I bought a joystick to use for America's Army, thinking that, "Hmm... Using a Joystick for AA would be pretty fun!".

So I purchased my joystick, and rushed home in a hurry with a smile on my face, because I was excited to try my new toy out.

I plugged it in and everything, started up AA, went to the options screen on AA and enabled the joystick.

Okay, now when I enter a server, the screen slowly drifts down. It just starts to
drift down out of random.

The joystick enables movement, not sight, yet the screen moves downward when the joystick is enabled.

I purchased a "Logitech ATK3" joystick.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do other people even use Joysticks for AA? Does anyone else have a Logitech ATK3 joystick?

did you Calibrate the joystick, The pc might not reconknize it, so you have to Do all the settingd yourself..

I'll explain..


THe pc thinks that when je joystick is positioned in the middle, It's pointing down..

Just go to Configuration screen
then "Game Controle" Or anything close ( I got dutch xp..)
Then Create a new Joystick configuration, and all that crap

The joystick works and shit, the screen just starts to slope down slowly when its enabled.

But the joystick works fine. I don't know why it does that, if the mouse is used to move the screen. It's really starting to piss me off.

I think I may have found the problem. There is a switch thingy that changes the Z Axis and the X and Y Axis' are controlled by the joystick it's self. I'm going to test this out and see if it works.
