What happened to clients with a lot of cheats?

Is cheating in general completely dead here? I remember there used to be clients that can let you disable debuffs, auto aim, auto nexus, get larger screen, etc. What happened?

Cheating isn't really "the meta" anymore, and that's with all games. The few coders that do still make cheats would rather sell them than offer them for free like they used to. Also regulating people that want to sell their cheats is difficult so most people don't want to deal with it either.

Then with the constant updating of a games anti-cheat software, it forces coders to continually update their cheat which becomes a lot of work.

Um, in complete contrast to what Hennessy says, in terms of RotMG cheating at MPGH, it is very much dead here.
In terms of RotMG cheating elsewhere, there are indeed places to source your hacks (of which contain the hacks you are looking for), and communities entirely built off of these clients/hacks.

Take the 50 Guild for example. The guild's infamous for general exploitation of the game, namely the 50 Client (or Prod Mafia/Flash Client).
You can take Realmstock for another example: constantly updated by Evan to be used with Unity.
RealmBot is another example.
All of these examples can be used for the current version of RotMG as of 1/31/2023.

It's not even an issue of "is it meta?"
Current (and, might I add, more developed) clients such as 50 Client or earlier versions of Prod Mafia that have QoL features to aid in duping, ability spamming, and Bluetooth Mode are difficult to obtain for people who don't know a thing about RotMG's assets and code, or just aren't introduced to that whole community through someone you know.

TLDR: Realmstock and RealmBot prove that cheating is alive for RotMG.
50 Client and Prod Mafia prove that more developed hacks are harder to access or come by.

about realmstock, im not sure if i can trust their client. i risked it here only because it's public forum anyone can post where realmstock is private and doesn't have any kind of discussion about the said client. do you know if there's any forum about this client so i can look and think about it?
