As you all remember, I initially made a thread in 2021 highlighting why MPGH was losing members. I concluded that Capitalism was the reason, for which you can read here - https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthrea...4#post15186464
After a lot of additional research, I discovered that the main problem was in fact obesity.
Once a vibrant and bustling online community, MPGH.net had always been a hub for gamers to connect and share their passion for all things gaming. From sharing tips and tricks on popular games to discuss the latest gaming news, MPGH.net had it all. But things had taken a turn for the worse. The site was losing members at an alarming rate, and the reason behind it was causing quite a stir.
Rumors had started to spread on various online forums that MPGH.net was losing members because of the large number of overweight individuals on the site. People claimed that they were uncomfortable with the sheer number of "fat people" who frequented the site and that it made them feel unwelcome.
The rumors quickly gained momentum and began to snowball out of control. Moderators tried their best to quell the situation, but it seemed like nothing could be done to stop the mass exodus of members. It was a baffling situation for the admins of MPGH.net who had always strived to create a welcoming environment for gamers of all shapes and sizes.
Despite their best efforts, the negative comments and rumors continued to spread. Anonymous users began posting hurtful comments about overweight individuals on the forums, further fueling the fire. The moderators were at a loss, unsure of how to stop the negative comments from spreading.
As days turned into weeks, the situation continued to worsen. The once-vibrant community had become a ghost town, with only a handful of members remaining. The admins knew that they needed to take drastic action if they were going to save their beloved site.
They decided to launch a campaign to combat the negativity that had taken over the site. They made it clear that MPGH.net was a place for gamers of all shapes and sizes and that everyone was welcome. They also implemented a zero-tolerance policy for any hate speech or derogatory comments made toward individuals based on their appearance.
The admins @arunforce and @Dave84311 reached out to members who had left the site, asking for feedback on how they could improve the community. They listened to the concerns of former members and made changes to the site accordingly. They implemented features to make the site more accessible to individuals with disabilities and added content to promote healthy living and wellness.
The situation with MPGH.net had escalated beyond repair. Despite the best efforts of the admins and the remaining members, the negative rumors and comments about overweight individuals had caused irreparable damage. The once-thriving community had crumbled, and the site had become a barren wasteland of empty forums and neglected profiles.
The admins had tried everything to save the site, but it seemed like there was no coming back from the damage that had been done. They had implemented a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech and derogatory comments, reached out to former members for feedback, and made changes to the site to promote inclusivity and healthy living. But it was all for naught.
In the end, the admins had to face the reality that MPGH.net was beyond saving. They made the difficult decision to shut down the site, leaving behind a legacy of what could have been. It was a sobering reminder of the power of negativity and how quickly it could tear apart even the strongest of communities.
The former members of MPGH.net were forced to move on and find new communities to call home. Some found solace in other online gaming communities, while others chose to disconnect from the online world altogether. The admins, for their part, took the lessons they had learned from the situation and applied them to their future endeavors, ensuring that they would never make the same mistakes again.
The downfall of MPGH.net had been a tragedy, but it served as a wake-up call for the online community as a whole. It highlighted the need for inclusivity and acceptance and the dangers of hate speech and negativity. It was a lesson that would not soon be forgotten.

mpgh just never transitioned into the new generation properly tbh. the only people keeping the site alive were grown adults basically who eventually had to go off to college or start a career and be with their families and so on. the younger generation was supposed to take over and keep the game hacking alive but are way too lazy to learn anything and then when they do theyd rather charge money for everything they make out of it so yeeee i mean i think mpgh (if they wanted to revive it that is) should just branch out to disc0rd and make like a huuuuuge disc0rd server, have a channel for every game and topic, and work on a new and improved forum while everyone uses disc0rd , then when the disc0rd hits 10k+ start publicizing the new site
