The game crashes/unloads immediately upon detecting this process for me even with compatibility settings adjusted or administrator mode.

You can put the exe file from mod folder into the desktop and run as administrator; worked for me

mods need to change this to working, all you need to do is rename the folder and exe and then run as admin and it works perfectly.

These things are what we call as false positives. As far as my acknowledgement goes, it has been patches, so use it at your own risk (probably better to use it as an offline user).
