Been feeling nostalgic myself turning 30 and started playing Runescape again. Logging into my account for the first time since 2006 and having my username taken away was not nice. Then seeing most of my friend's list with no username was even sadder, and the single person that was online I couldn't even remember and they didn't remember me. Feels bad.

I really never feel like gaming anymore. I'd rather hop on Twitch and watch some young kid actually enjoy the games like I used to. I always quit after 5 minutes of playing something anymore.

Bruh i miss gaming but yeah growing sucks your whole life changes, before i could stay 6-7 in a single game, Now i keep looking at the electricity and CPU usage lmao and my time when i need to do that task that i had !

I did that, and I've beat total of 14-16 games by now, prior to having YouTube, I would just stare at the screen, and not do sack shit.
As of this post, I spent nearly 3 hours playing and recording hogwarts legacy, yesterday I beat God of War 3 Remastered.

I try every now and then, but honestly for me personally there are getting to be less and less games worth playing, it’s been the exact same shit for 30 years. What I mean is, I had fun doing quest, killing things for rewards, finding secrets, etc. The stories were always brought to life and amazing, true works of creative individuals with learned/true/raw talents. Now when I play a game it’s like someone filled my mouth and eyes with colorful dirt that lights up for self enjoyment as they attempt to cram micro-transactions and pay-to-play down my throat via water boarding. Many stories have grown dull and procedurally stagnate.

That’s just me though I lost a lot of my joy. Played 90 hours of BG3 when it came out, I think they did pretty damn good, been awhile since I’ve thrown that amount of time into legit just playing a game for fun. Would’ve kept playing but long story short lost my save.
