Ok, so last night i tried upgrading my win vista ultimate to win 7 home premium. when it was finished my computer shut down, then restarted. then black screen shows and has 2 options: windows 7, and windows setup rollback. when i select windows 7, the cool windows 7 intro shows up and says "starting windows" i thought that the installation worked but then an error message comes up that says "he computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered
an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows,
click "OK" or restart the computer, and then restart the installation" then it restarted my computer and its the EXACT SAME THING over and over again!
and when i click 'Windows Setup Rollback' on the black screen. it says. Upgrade was not succesfull, restart computer to continue upgrade (or something like that)
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME
my dad doesnt know about this yet but when he did he'll probably get really pissed. (he doesnt even know that im trying to install windows 7.

MPGH isn't a technical problems forum.
just do a clean install.
or *gasp* windows setup rollback.
i couldn’t imaging what that would do...
Another microfail. lucky i bought my lappy with wins 7 pre-installed .
try posting this on a microfail forum.
i tried that
i cant reinstall it or anything because...
THE STUPID ERRORS THAT RESTART MY COMPUTER
and windows setup rollback just does an annoying restarting loop
im not using my main computer rite now im using my super crappy laptop,
i regret doing selecting upgrade now
pop the disk in and do a fresh install.
create a bootable usb drive of it and do a fresh install.
I don’t remember, but i know its possible.
