Hey MPGH community!
There are a ton of games out there with some pretty standard mechanics, but every once in a while, a game introduces a feature that feels truly unique or creative. I’m curious to hear about the most innovative or unexpected game feature you’ve ever come across. It could be a gameplay mechanic, a character ability, a story element, or even a user interface feature that really stood out to you.
For me, I’d say the Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. The way enemies remember you and evolve based on previous encounters was something I’d never seen before.
What’s your pick for the most creative or innovative game feature, and what made it stand out? Let’s discuss!

Probably the arma mod that developed battle royale which led to fortnite and in turn battle passes/microtransactions. Though, to be fair, fortnite isn't totally to blame for microtransactions.
As far as an actual programmable feature, maybe the Destiny franchise for initially (at least in the first game and first few years of the 2nd game) creating such a well balanced PVP/PVE game in the FPS format, along with including random % chance weapon drops for very MMORPG style grindability made it a very cool feature if you ask me. Many people bought the games for PVP, others PVP, and some for both.
How can I be a bot? lol

Make up your mind and find new talking points bozo
You never replied to the threads and the posts were different from your old posts, so I thought you sold your account or started running a bot. Wasn't 100% sure that's why no ban, and I guess you're not a bot

While probably not super creative in terms of features...I found both Mario Maker and Mario Maker 2 genius from a video game perspective. Allowing users to do the work of creating the levels and taking the task away from actual developers to make hundreds of thousands of levels was pretty creative...and some of the levels people have built are amazing.
