We (GamersFirst) decided not to be so rude. We have a firm feeling that what is happening is not right and we want to let players who may not know us, know how we feel.

I'm not gonna lie, as soon as that was announced people were screaming (and laughing) in our office. It just strikes us as something that isn't condusive to building and managing a community. There are millions of other ways to make people behave on forums that do not include forcing them to reveal their identity.

Just making it so when you post every character you have can be revealed would be more than enough to have the exact same effect. This change by them seems to be: "Play nice or you may get assaulted". That to us, is not in the best interest of our gamers or our company and we think people should know that.

By the way, that code is actually live on our site right now wink.gif.
